Mineralization Comments

Oct 14, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Following a site visit Horwood (1940) reported on the veining as trending at about 350 degrees and dipping 82 degrees west, located on the hanging wall side of a quartz porphyry dyke. The pinch and swell vein is reported as generally 8” to 9” wide and containing variable gold and sulphides (coarse pyrite, minor chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena). Sample A667152 was collected from a quartz-dolomite vein from an old trench. The vein was poorly exposed but appeared to be 3 to 4’ wide and is believed to trend roughly north-easterly. Hosted in a felsic volcanic, the presence of visible gold was noted within the veining but was not observed in the vein material submitted for assay. Upon re-assay with a gravimetric finish the sample returned 46.2 g/t Au (Assessment report 20000007240). Sample 73506 returned 1.66 pm Au (Assessment report 52M01SE2041).
