Mineralization Comments

12/17/2020 (T Pettigrew) - The G vein is located 200 m NE of the Mill Vein. It trends N50E and occurs in a brittle-ductile shear 1-3 m wide. The host rocks comprise basalts intruded by gabbro and numerous felsite and pegmatite dykes. The quartz vein is 20-30 cm wide and mineralized with minor pyrite, chalcopyrite, and galena. Samples taken by W. Acker returned up to 2.469 ppm Au (Assessment report 42D14SE0052). DDH S-190 returned up to 0.12 oz/t Au and 0.23 oz/t Ag over 2 feet (4.1 g/t Au and 7.88 g/t Ag over 0.61 m) from a metabasalt containing a quartz-calcite vein with 2-3% pyrite and 0.2 oz/t Au and 0.32 oz/t Ag over 1.5 feet (6.8 g/t Au and 10.97 g/t Ag over 0.46 m) from a metabasalt containing a quartz-calcite vein with 3-5% pyrite. DDH S-191 returned up to 0.1 oz/t Au and 0.2 oz/t Ag over 1.5 feet (3.42 g/t Au and 6.86 g/t Ag over 0.46 m) from quartz-feldspar porphyry with minor quartz and calcite veins containing minor pyrite along fractures (Assessment report 42D14SE0042). DDH HL 88-2 was set up to test the quartz veining and mineralized felsic intrusive exposed in a small pit about 1000' on strike northeast from the Mill Vein. Assays from the hole are low because the drill struggled with the hardness of the granite and did not reach the target. A grab sample of quartz vein material collected from the pit by Beardmore Resources staff assayed 0.171 oz/ton Au (5.86 g/t Au) and the pyritic felsic dyke assayed 0.015 oz/ton Au (0.51 g/t Au) (Assessment report 42D14SE0477). Samples collected in 1988 by Beardmore Resources returned assays of up to 28.04 g/t Au and 62 ppm Ag (Assessment report 42D15SW8353).
