Location Method: Field Visit with GPS
Access Description: Travel south 62 km from highway 101 to the Heenan road. Travel approximately 5 km north east past October lake, with access by ATV trails.
1965-66: W. G. Wahl carried out a ground magnetic survey and mapping (T-2311). 1973, 1980-1985, Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd. carried out ground geophysics, stripping, mapping, humus geochemistry, diamond drilling, and trenching (T-2105, T-2345). 1975: U. S. Steel International / W.G. Wahl (Claim Lake Grid) carried out ground geophysics, mapping, and rock and soil geochemical survey (T-2311). 1987-1988: Ressources Halex Inc. (Falconbridge Option) carried out a geophysical survey and drilling (T-3313). 1994, Conquest Yellowknife Resources completed trenching and sampling (T-3733). 1998: Archibald, G.M. carried out prospecting and mapping (T-4375). 1999: A. Macdonnell completed stripping and re-assaying of original trench (T-4260). 2005-2006: VenCan Gold Corporation completed ground and airborne geophysical surveys (T-5112, T-5328, T-5418).

Jan 29, 2021 (Sheree Hinz) - The outcrop is an intermediate tuff breccia with a chloritized and sulphidized matrix. Felsic ash fragments and sparse black chert fragments are present. The outcrop is cross-cut by quartz veins with sulphide at the rims.

Jan 29, 2021 (Sheree Hinz) - A grab sample was taken in an iron-carbonate altered, sheared intermediate to tuff breccia. There is a 1-2cm wide quartz-carbonate vein cutting through this sample. This sample taken by T.Gemmell during the summer of 2019 (OGS mapping project) gave an assay result of 11.475 ppm Au.
