Mineralization Comments

Apr 01, 2021 (Therese Pettigrew) - The pegmatite dyke strikes N.50W and dips vertically to steeply east. It is exposed about 800 feet from the lakeshore along its line of strike, and has been traced intermittently on the surface for 500 feet. The width ranges from a few inches at the northwest end to about 7 feet near the southeast end (Pye, 1965). Samples collected in 1956 returned 0.49 and 0.99% Li2O (Assessment report 42E05NW0007). Samples collected by Rock Tech in 2009 returned up to 2.0% Li2O, 125 ppm Be, 86 ppm Nb, 656 ppm Rb, and 90.4 ppm Ta (Assessment report 20000005862).
