Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2021 (Therese Pettigrew) - Tanton (1931) reported that "On mining location T 151, stripping has been done over a length of about 30 feet in a notch on the side of a diabase sill capping flat-lying shales. A fissure, striking north 75 degrees east and dipping vertically, in these rocks, is occupied by a vuggy vein 4 inches wide. The vein minerals are calcite and colourless quartz. The latter mineral, with well-developed crystal terminations, lines the vugs." Sample 1099092 collected by Honey Badger Exploration in 2018 returned 953 g/t Ag, 0.94% Pb, and 0.5% Zn from a micro-brecciated shale with minor galena and sphalerite next to a larger vein (Assessment report 20000017904). DDH SM-19-021 intersected a silver-bearing zone that returned 98 g/t Ag and 0.1% Zn over 2 m (Honey Badger news release, August 8 2019).
