1997-98: Wagg Mineral Exploration and Consulting conducted ground magnetic and VLF-EM surveys. 2000: C.A. Wagg carried out trenching and sampling. 2002: Phoenix-Matachewan Mines Inc. carried out prospecting and sampling. 2021: Ethos Gold has optioned the property.

Lithology Comments

Apr 01, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - High-MgO gabbroic, pyroxenitic and peridotitic rocks outcrop along a several km long NE trend extending from the Whitton Lake area suggesting a large-scale sill / dyke system intruding sulphide -rich iron formation and felsic volcanic rocks (Ethos Gold press release March 8, 2021).

Mineralization Comments

Apr 01, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - Sample 686942 returned 4370 ppm Cu, 1900 ppm Ni, 72 ppb Au, 50.5 ppb Pt, and 290 ppb Pd from a gabbro. Sample 686951 returned 2510 ppm cu, 1415 ppm Ni, 44 ppb Au, 46 ppb Pt, and 250 ppb Pd from a gabbro (Assessment report 52H06SW2003).
