May 11, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - Drilling done by Noramco Explorations returned a number of anomalous Intersections up to .015 oz.Au/ton over 14 feet (0.47 g/t Au over 4.27 m) from sheared, carbonated mafic volcanics (Assessment report 52O09SE0024). A large east-west trending structural break is observed in the geophysical data. Ground mapping showed evidence of foliation and deformation associated with structural offsets. The host rock is predominantly sheared mafic volcanics. Strong veining and mineralization was encountered in the Swamp Zone discovery hole RVDD0022 (3.5 m @ 7.6 g/t Au), Brecciated multi-generational veining was observed, with the matrix dominated by chlorite and fine-grained sulphides (mostly pyrite). Small particles of visible gold were observed, and assays of up to 62.9 g/t Au were returned within the broader 3.5 m zone of veining. The vein was hosted within strongly foliated sericite altered basalt, consistent with large scale movement and fluid flow expected in an interpreted major structural corridor. DDH RVDD0023 returned 2.1 g/t Au over 0.6 m (Auteco news release May 3, 2022).
