May 20, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - Three channels were cut in 2020 and 2021. CH-36 includes a narrow contact zone with the metavolcanics grading into aplitic pegmatite. CH-47 is dominantly aplitic pegmatite. CH-49 is predominantly aplitic pegmatite with minor mafic metavolcanic horizons. Lithium grades for 2020 channels average 1.5% Li2O. Sample B00097924 returned 2.58% Li2O. The Bolt pegmatite has a surface extent of 600 m by up to 100 m (Frontier Lithium website, accessed May 20, 2022). DDH PL-111-23 and PL-112-23 indicate that the Bolt pegmatite has a horizontal width of up to 75 m. DDH PL-111-23 intersected 109.5 m of pegmatite averaging 0.96% Li2O, including 29.0 m from 148.0 to 177.0 m averaging 1.14% Li2O, and 34.2 m from 192.0 to 1226.2 m averaging 1.17% Li2O. DDH PL-112-23 intersected 90.1 m of pegmatite averaging 0.72% Li2O, including 26.6 m from 176.3 to 202.9 m averaging 1.51% Li2O (Frontier Lithium news release August 10, 2023).
