Oct 12, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - The property is positioned along the contact between the Allison Lake pegmatite granite batholith and the Jubilee Lake metasedimentary rocks of the Uchi Subprovince in northwestern Ontario. The Allison Lake batholith is a strongly evolved peraluminous granitic body that contains highly anomalous rare-element mineralization along its outer rim.

Oct 12, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - Samples collected by the OGS along the power line cut returned 190 ppm Li from a biotite granite and 154 ppm Li from a muscovite-garnet leucogranite (MRD111). Sampling by Portofino Resources in 2021 returned up to 398 ppm Li, 857 ppm Rb, 57.1 ppm Ga, 76 ppm Ta, 118 ppm Nb (Portofino Resources Oct 3, 2022 news release).
