Mineralization Comments

Oct 25, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - A dipole aeromagnetic anomaly coincides with the southwest extent of the Area A heatmap anomaly around the logging road. Granitic intrusive rocks of the Split Lake Stock have been emplaced in mafic volcanic rocks with some quartz breccia veining. Bands and lenses of magnetite-pyrite within the volcanics are strongly magnetic weathering to a rusty orange appearance and may represent magnetite alteration near the contact with intrusive rock. Several samples have elevated nickel, copper and silver values including Sample 3297900 which assayed 238 ppb Ag, 734 ppm Cu and 502 ppm Ni. A grab sample (3297632) of quartz breccia veining with pyrite from outcrop assayed 2,593.8 ppb Au, and 437 ppb Ag (Assessment report 20000019454).
