Unknown. Shallow shaft in area with anomalous gold in tailings around opening. Possibly developed during active exploration on the Kenricia mine trend circa 1935.

Site Visit Information

Date: May 06, 2022

Geologist: Ethan Amyotte

Notes: Site visit by E. Amyotte for J. Cross interested in the mining history and geology in the historic Kenricia Mine area. Identified felsic volcanic rocks with lithic clasts hosting at least two different styles of quartz veining, one of which being "spider veins" known to host gold in the area.
