Exploration History

1981-82: E.J. Burns performed manual and mechanical stripping and trenching. 1983: Hollinger Argus Ltd. optioned the property and carried out sampling. 1987: P. Frankow contracted an airborne VLF-EM survey. 1989: P. Frankow drilled 3 DDH totalling 186.27 m. 1999: P. Frankow carried out line cutting, prospecting, and mapping. 1995-97: P. Frankow carried out mapping, sampling, and a VLF-EM survey.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 30, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - Sample 95-130 returned 10,400 ppm Zn, 1050 ppm Pb from a weathered intermediate volcaniclastic with minor disseminated fine-grained pyrite. Sample 96-177 returned 7160 ppm Zn, 2460 ppm Pb from massive, milky white quartz with 2-5% wispy chlorite, minor fine-grained galena and pyrite. Sample 96-212 returned 9940 ppm Zn, 9300 ppm Pb. from an iron formation with 90% massive pyrite (Assessment report 41O05NE0013).
