Exploration History

1981-82: E.J. Burns performed manual and mechanical stripping and trenching. 1983: Hollinger Argus Ltd. optioned the property and carried out sampling. 1987: P. Frankow contracted an airborne VLF-EM survey. 1995-97: P. Frankow carried out mapping, sampling, and a VLF-EM survey. 1999: P. Frankow carried out line cutting, prospecting, and mapping.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 30, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - Sample 96-184A returned 18,600 ppm Zn and 1870 ppm Pb from quartz vein breccia near feldspar porphyry contact. Aphanitic, medium grey metavolcanic with 50% irregular quartz vein with weak to moderate carbonate in fractures. Minor chalcopyrite and galena patches and stringers. Sample 96-188 returned 4300 ppm Cu from a quartz vein breccia with fine grained intermediate volcaniclastic clasts. 10% quartz and 1-2% chalcopyrite patches (Assessment report 41O05NE0013).
