Ultramafic lava flow-unsubdivided 2 Peridotitic Komatiite Sheared Host

Lithology Comments

Mar 23, 2023 (Paul Malegus) - The property is underlain by the Balmer assemblage, trending east-west. Gold mineralization is hosted within basalt interbeds of peridotitic komatiites (Prosper Gold, news release, October 20, 2021).

Mineralization Comments

Mar 23, 2023 (Paul Malegus) - Gold is hosted within quartz-ankerite veins, with pyrite, arsenopyrite and visible gold. Prosper Gold reported results from 2021 drilling which included 1.15 g/t Au over 1.50 m from DD21GC001, 5.07 g/t over 1.10 m from DD21GC005, 5.63 g/t Au over 0.50 m from DD21GC030, 7.81 g/t Au over 0.80 m from DD21GC035 and 22.70 g/t Au over 0.55 m from DD21GC039 (Prosper Gold, news release, January 17, 2022). Intercepts from 2022 drilling include 3.13 g/t Au over 5.88 m from DD22GC068 and 14.20 g/t Au over 0.50 m from DD22GC084 (Prosper Gold, news release, January 9, 2023).

Alteration Comments

Mar 23, 2023 (Paul Malegus) - Local ankerite-silica-pyrite alteration within basalt interbeds. While interal to the ankerite zones, biotite alteration is present. Finally silica-sericite-carbonate alteration is associated with gold (Ritchie, 2022 - Assessment File 20000020488).
