Jun 23, 2023 (Therese Pettigrew) - The three northeast-southwest striking iron formation units on Target 18 occur within mafic volcanics toward the contact with a unit of intermediate volcanics. The best copper value from the area was from a quartz-carbonate vein and assayed 3010 ppm Cu (D295382) while the best zinc values was 373 ppm Zn (D295381). The best gold assay returned was 0.043 ppm Au (D295381). Sample D295382 is described as a quartz vein in one of several gossanous boulders on topo high. Blue gray quartz vein with pyrrhotite pyrite chalcopyrite (Assessment report 20000020291).
