Jul 18, 2023 (Therese Pettigrew) - The Birch pegmatites (616131E 5397696N) are located in the northern part of the property. One of the pegmatites strikes northeast at 040° and dips 70° SE, is approximately 30 to 40 m wide, and is hosted within granite rocks. The pegmatite features coarse-grained quartz and feldspars in excess of 30 cm, and green apatite, green and smokey-silver muscovite were noted. Samples from the Birch Pegmatites area returned 2500 ppm Be from sample W878956; 3450 ppm Be from W878952; 1370 ppm Cs, 1420 ppm Rb and 93.9 ppm Ta from B418894; and 170 ppm Cs and 1020 ppm Rb from B418897 (Campbell et al., 2023).
