Exploration History

2023: Exploration was initiated by Jason Leblanc (Bounty Gold Corp) and Jace Angell (Last Resort Resources), including prospecting and mapping in the project area. The property was optioned to Beyond Lithium who continued prospecting on the property. On September 18, 2023 Beyond announced results from the field program that included 68 samples. Spodumene was noted in multiple pegmatites across the Ear Falls Project. Completed seven drill holes totalling 329.59 m in November 2023.

Geology

Province: Superior

Subprovince: English River

Terrane: English River Basins

Geology Comments

Sep 18, 2023 (Paul Malegus) - The occurrence is located over a 3 km strike length, with multiple spodumene and/or beryl pegmatites mapped. Pegmatites are located primarily along the contact between the peraluminous Wenesaga Batholith and the adjacent metasedimentary units. All pegmatites to date have been found within the English River subprovince. 205 pegmatite outcrops have been mapped and the structural trend is on strike with the Sandy Creek Pegmatite (MDI52K11NW00004) (Beyond Lithium, news release, September 18, 2023).
