2023: prospecting by W. Benham noted lithium mineralization. Pioneer Lithium optioned the property in November.
Jan 18, 2024 (Therese Pettigrew) - The Benham Lithium Project cis located immediately south of the boundary between the Winnipeg River and Western Wabigoon Sub-provinces of the Archaean Superior Craton, straddling a narrow greenstone belt proximal to the peraluminous, two-mica Ghost Lake Batholith and its smaller satellites (Pioneer Lithium ASX release Jan 18, 2024).

Jan 18, 2024 (Therese Pettigrew) - The pegmatite outcrop is 40 m long. Channel sampling returned 2.33% Li2O over 2.1 m including 4.61% Li2O over 100 cm from channel sample F0373658 (Pioneer Lithium ASX announcement Jan 18, 2024).
