Geologist: Ethan Amyotte

Notes: The occurrence appears as a 2m wide east trending south dipping (70 degrees) structure which is exposed over a 40m trench. Much of the exposure is covered with rubble from the small scale mining operation; however, visible is that the structure is hosted by a silica altered mafic flow. Within the rubble exists two types of quartz veins, a quartz carb chlorite variety, which is associated with pyrite and malachite, and a smokey quartz variety associated with sphalerite. Four samples were collected, one host rock, and three quartz vein samples, one of which with potential visible gold.
