Point Location Description: Main shaft
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Main shaft located south of Third Line Rd and north of CN track immediately NW of Lythmore station.
TOWNSHIP: NOW PART OF THE TOWN OF HALDIMAND, PRODUCTION: 83,000 TONS BETWEEN 1917 and 1927. The mine was closed due to water and unstable roof problems.

Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - The main gypsum bed extracted occurs at 25 m in the main shaft and at 42 m in the air shaft. Its thickness is about 2.4m and grey coloured. There is a second thinner(< 1m) bed which occurs at 33 m in the main shaft and it is white coloured.
