Access Description: The quarry is located south of Vineland on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment.
TOWNSHIP: NOW PART OF THE TOWN OF LINCOLN. The Clinton Quarry was opened in 1986 to supplement the supply of stone tothe crushing facilities at the Vineland quarry. Bothethe quarries are operated by Walker Industries Holding Inc with a licensed area of 273.89 Ha.

Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - The Vineland Quarry exposes 8.95 m of Middle Silurian rocks Lockport Formation (Goat Island and Gasport Members), Decew Formation and Rochester Formations. All these formations are dolostones ,the Lockport being the thichest (7.43 m). The formations are fossiliferous, bituminous with abundance of vugs filled with sphalerite, calcite and gypsum mineralisations.
