Access Description: 4.5 km S of Town Calidonia on HWY 6, 0.5 E on Concession Rd V, then 400 m S on McGowan Rd.
TOWNSHIP: NOW PART OF THE TOWN OF HALDIMAND, PRODUCTION: BETWEEN 1870 AND 1920.The mine closed proably due to lack of roof stability. Total production estmated at 19400 metric tons during 25 years of production.

Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - 1.4-1.5m thick good quality white gypsum bed with local pinchouts occurs at a depth of 15-17.5m. The formation probably belongs to Salina E unit.
