Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - The mined bed in this mine with thickness of 2.39 to 4.06 m consists of laminated dolomitic gypsite to gypsum containing an approximately 0.5 m thick layer of nodular to enterolithic gypsum. Although a variety of textures are locally developed in both Mine 2 and 3 , there is no hassock texture present in Mine no 2.
