Access Description: 3 km southeast of Lowville on the northeastern face of Mount Nemo.



Exploration History

The quarry was operated between 1958 and 1959 by Lowville Quarries Limited and provided crushed stone for road construction and concrete aggregate. Bay Crushed Stone possesed the property in the early 1960 and now is under the authority of halton Regional conservation Authority.

Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - 17.7 m of massive-bedded (>2m) light grey to light brown dolostone beds, sparsely fossiliferrous with crinoidal debris and brachiopods.
