Site Visit Information

Date: Sep 30, 2022

Geologist: Mateo Dorado-Troughton

Notes: Visited by SO Resident Geologist staff with ERGMS' Aggregate - Industrial Mineral Geologist. The quarry has been operated by J Rice and his brother since at least the '80s. They quarry Whirlpool sandstone and split the stone manually. Production is winding down and the quarry will likely close within the year. See property examination in OFR6404 for a full write-up.*
