Access Description: Located 6 km NW of Georgetown, on the eastern side of HWY 7 at the hamlet of Silver Creek.
The quarry was opened in the 1950's to supply the local market with crushed stone and it became inactive by 1960. This unlicenced quarry is presently owned by B.Pattison.

Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - 5.6 m of white to grey dolostone of Middle Silurian Amabel Formation , medium-bedded( 10-25 cm), coarse crystalline with sharp, stylolitic contacts and some shale partings, fossiliferous with abundant crinoidal debris are exposed at this quarry.
