Access Description: Located 5 km west of Georgetown.
The quarry was opened in 1958 by Armstrong Brothers Co for crushed stone for road construction- presently it is privately owned.

Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - The 7.4 m quarry face consists of dolostone of Middle Silurian Amabel Formation characterized by light grey, medium to coarse crystalline, med to massive bedded with sharp stylolitic contacts, porous reefal structures; flank beds dip appoximately 15 to 20 degrees, sparsely fossiliferous with some brachiopods and crinoidal debris. Hewitt reported that the lowermost beds in the quarry (under water level) were shaly dolostone of the Reynales Formation
