Feb 21, 2013 (A Wilson) - The sandstone is very fine-grained, rests on shales and is capped by a considerable thickness of limestone.
Feb 21, 2013 (A Wilson) - A church and the Milton courthouse were constructed from stone from this quarry. Most of the stone quarried was rubblestone.
