Point Location Description: ' st ' symbol N of Hwy 29, about 2.5 km WNW of Tincap.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Pre-1964 : operated by H.J. McFarland Construction Co Ltd and, later, by Tackaberry and Sons Construction Co Ltd - providing crushed stone for road construction. Inactive in 1993 and possibly in 1985.
Province: Paleozoic and Mesozoic Basins
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - A 10.1 m face exposes fine-medium-grained dolostones of the Oxford Formation in 2 subequal lifts. Calcite-filled vugs are present in some beds. Overburden is thin. Section AQ BR-4 (OGS 1991) is in this quarry.
