Point Location Description: Point 0.75 km NW of Forthton.

Access Description: From the junction of Hwy 2 and Hwy 29/42 in Brockville, drive N on 29/42 (Court House Avenue) to New Dublin Road (6.1 km). The road to the quarry is just past this turn, on the right.
Mineral location : calcite, marcasite and mica.
Province: Paleozoic and Mesozoic Basins
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - An inactive quarry in 3.6 m thick March Formation. The quarry is partly water-filled. White to brownish-pink calcite in cavities in the sandy dolomite (fluoresces pink under ' short' UV rays). Common 3/4 inch marcasite nodules. Green-blue mica gives the dolomite a bluish cast in places.
