1898 : T. Bresee - moulding sand from this farm was first used in 1898 1923: A. Paul - produced moulding sand intermittently since 1923.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - The moulding sand lies between outcrops of granite and sandstone, centred on lot 22. It has a uniform thickness of about 30 inches with 6-12 inches of overburden. It is underlain by sharp or loamy sand. See ' Hallecks Clay ' MDI31B12SE00012, re underlying clay. 2 samples of sand were taken in 1928 (OGS 1936).

Feb 20, 2013 (A Wilson) - The moulding sand lies between outcrops of granite and sandstone, centred on lot 22. It has a uniform thickness of about 30 inches with 6-12 inches of overburden. It is underlain by sharp or loamy sand. The sand ranges from 1 ½ feet to 3 ft 10 inches in thickness. The moulding sand layer is uniform in thickness (30 inches). The moulding sand is underlain by sharp or loamy sand.
Feb 20, 2013 (A Wilson) - The sand has been deemed useful for brass foundry work and was suitable for stove plate and similar light work.
