Circa 1980 : quarried by Dodge Construction - crushed stone for local road construction. Quarrry is now inactive (1993) and water-filled.
Province: Paleozoic and Mesozoic Basins
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Only 2.0 m of Oxford Formation dolostone is exposed above the water level. This is fine-grained, medium grey, weathering light brown, and thick-bedded. Calcitic vugs are common in some beds - Section AQ BR-3 (1991).
