A quarry is listed in 1922 and 1923 on lot 10, con 1 in the name of W.J. Woodland and Co. It supplied crushed limestone for roads. This may be the same as the quarry listed in 1989 as Cardinal Quarry # 2 ('lot 11' is presumably a misprint since there appears to be only 1 quarry on lot 11- Cardinal Quarry # 1).
