Point Location Description: General, point 2 km NW of Royal Military College.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Wallace's quarry on Patrick Street is situated on the margin of the bluff which has been opened in an almost continuous line of quarries.
The quarry was in production between 1890 to 1900's. Limestone was used for building stone, sills and coursing. Stone from this quarry or the adjoining quarries was used in the construction of City Hall, Drill Hall, St. Andrew's church, post-office, and the College buildings (Parks 1912, p212).
