Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - The 6 metre deep quarry exposes thin bedded, shaly limestone of the Middle Ordovician Verulam Formation. Fossils are numerous throughout the quarry, especially brachiopods, gastropods, and trilobites (OFR 5863, p.68).
