Location Method: AMIS Site Visit
Access Description: 2.0 km SW of Woodville, 8 km northeast of Picton. The quarry is within a few hundred metres of the Bay of Quinte. Accessible from Hwy 49.
Quarry was opened in 1976 by John Doranburg of Picton and in February 1986, the property was purchase by Miller Paving Limited (Limestone Industries of Ontario, vol2, p114). 2023: The quarry is still licensed by Miller Paving. At the NE corner of the quarry, a 4.86ha past-producing limestone quarry is licensed by Lafarge Canada Inc.

Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - 6.4 m deep quarry exposes thin-bedded, nodular limestone of the lower member of the Lindsay Formation.
Aug 09, 2023 (Mateo Dorado-Troughton) - The limestone found in this quarry is fossiliferous, with abundant gastropod and brachiopod fossils.
