Point Location Description: Junction of Cameron creek and the road leading to Moscow from just east of Enterprise

Location Method: Field Visit with GPS

Access Description: Drive east of Enterprise and turn south on the road leading to Moscow. Just prior to the intersection of the Moscow road and Cameron Creek turn off to the east on a dirt road leading to a barn. Continue on this road for approximately 1/2 mile to the occurrence.



Exploration History

This is a new occurrence. Exploration began in earnest in the spring of 2002 with two areas being stripped and sampled.

Site Visit Information

Date: Mar 13, 2003

Geologist: C Papertzian

Notes: This occurrence was visited on September 6th, 2002. Two stripped areas were observed. The first area measured roughly 35 feet by 15 feet. A talc vein was noted in the middle of this area, approximately 5 feet wide by 25 feet long, striking 192 degrees. It was flanked on either side by white to buff to pink coarse grained calcitic and dolomitic marble. A second stripped area measured 10 feet wide by 15 feet long. A two-foot wide vein of talcose material (soapstone) was also noted in this outcrop. Again the strike was 192 degrees and the dip was -37 degrees. This vein was flanked by white serpentinized marble.
