Active quarry, opened in 1989 by J.C. Denison. About 14.2 acres in the S end, about 7.6 acres in the N pit. It is not in an area designated under the Pits and Quarries Control Act. 10 m face, overburden about 1-2 m thick.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - The quarry face exposes 10.0 m of the upper member of the Gull River Formation - thinly-bedded fine to very fine-grained fossiliferous limestone. Large colonies of the coral Tetradium, other colonial corals, brachiopods, trilobites and crinoids occur here.
