Access Description: The occurrence is located on the southwest shore of Bear Lake and can be reached by a road northwest of the village of Perth Road.
Formerly a phosphate producer worked by W. Wallace of Perth Road, the mine was acquired by J.H. Roberts of Perth Road in1900. It operated from 1899 tto 1903 producing $3,170 worth of mica. There are a number of surface pits and an inclined shaft 105 feet deep.
