Nov 21, 2013 (A Wilson) - Keith noted that there appeared to be a large reserve of coarse-grained, friable sandstone in the area that could be suitable to the production of foundry sands. No additional work has proven a reserve.

Nov 21, 2013 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected by the ODM in 1945 assayed: 98.21% SiO2, 0.14% Fe2O3, 0.50% Al2O3, 0.02% MgO and 0.11 CaO.
