Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - Red Potsdam sandstone, medium grained with well rounded quartz grains cemented by a thin film of ferric oxide. Relatively even bedded with some beds being a white colour grading into a salmon colour (Building Stone Inventory checklist).
