Feb 20, 2013 (A Wilson) - The Potsdam sandstone is composed largely of fine to medium grained sandstone which is commonly white, buff or red in colour. In places in Storrington Township the sandstone is decidedly ferruginous and has been worked on a small scale for iron. The sandstone is thin to medium-bedded.
