Lithology Comments

Nov 21, 2013 (A Wilson) - The section from which the sample was collected consists of buff-weathering sandstone, thin-bedded argillaceous sandstone, thin-bedded creamy whit sandstone, massive white sandstone with some disseminated graphite and thinly-bedded white sandstone. The rock was noted to cover a couple of hectares with an approximate thickness of 2.1-6.1 metres.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 21, 2013 (A Wilson) - A sample collected from the site in 1946 returned 99.10% SiO2, 0.16% Fe2O3, 0.37% Al2O3, 0.08% MgO and 0.11% CaO.
