Point Location Description: Dot symbol ' Ochre ' just E of Jones Falls.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
A pocket of red ochre in marble, presumably leached from the overlying Potsdam Sandstone. This was mined ( pre 1922 ) and a few tons of very clean, best quality ochre were shipped to a paint factory.
