Point Location Description: Dot symbol ' Mi ', ' Ap ' just N of West Bay of Sand Lake.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Circa 1870 : worked for apatite by Schultz. 1900-7 : worked at intervals by the Brockville Mining Co for mica ( dark amber ). 1910 : dumps worked over. 1912 : operated again for a short period ( producing 12 tons of mica ). The main pit is circular and 25 ft across by 75 ft deep.
