Sep 10, 2013 (A Wilson) - The marble is described as being fine to medium grained laminated calcite marble with 0.5 to 2 cm thick layers. It is commonly interbedded with medium to coarse-grained calcitic marble. The marble occurs as linear inclusions within the Mountain Grove gabbro intrusion.
