Point Location Description: General, point 1 km W of Northbrook.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Drive north on Hwy 41 to Northbrook. Take first left west past beer store. At first fork in road take left fork (paved). Turns to gravel after 200m. Continue along gravel road to 2nd fork. Take right fork and proceed to hydro cut. From edge of hydro cut drive 400m along the road. Head NW on foot to top of hill. Walk 13.5m from edge of hydro cut to pit 2.
June 1927, the Ore Extension Mining Company was reported to have begun work on the NW 1/4 of lot 27. A shaft was sunk and lateral work was done.
