Feb 13, 2023 (Sheree Hinz) - This rock is a medium grained, pink, gneissic quartz monzonite. The texture is fairly uniform over the area, with only a small degree of variability. The rock contains a large number of quartz stringers, usually 1cm to 5cm in width. Much of the outcrop shows extensive exfoliation.
