Lithology Comments

Oct 30, 2019 (Sheree Hinz) - The Spry Zinc occurrence is situated in the central zone of a major northeast trending structure referred to as the Clare River Syncline. The rock sequence is composed of interlayered marble, siliceous metasedimentary rocks and mafic volcanic rocks all bounded by granitic gneiss. The Spry occurrence is hosted in the marble sequence near the core of syncline.

Mineralization Comments

Oct 30, 2019 (Sheree Hinz) - Grab samples of sphalerite mineralization taken by Glenshire Mines Limited in 1975 returned assays ranging from 18.71 to 29.29% Zn and 0.04 to 0.14 oz/ton Ag. Carter mapped two main mineralized zones on the former Glenshire Mines property in 1984. He found sphalerite mineralization over widths of up to 5 meters and traced this zone continuously along strike for at least 500 meters. A representative chip sample taken by him across 5 meters of the main zone of trenching contained 3.88% Zn, 1.0 ppm Pb and trace amounts of Silver. A grab sample taken at the same time from the richest mineralized layer in this zone contained 19.8% Zn, 78 ppm Pb, 186 ppm Cu, 840 ppm Cd and trace Silver.
