Point Location Description: Quarry near property symbol 16, 2.4 km SW of Hazzards Corner.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: North for 3.5 km on Hwy 62 from Hwy 7. Stop 90 m before house on the left (west) side (a Joe Mumby septic tank sign). Follow laneway along hedgerow leading east away from highway. Walk approximately 1.3 km; lane bends to north and stops just before quarry.
Madoc Marble Quarries formerly operated this small quarry.

Jul 30, 2024 (Nazha Sabiri) - Petrographic examination of a specimen of medium crystalline limestone indicates that the rock is a clastic calcarenite composed of fragments and pellets of fine grained limestone in a clastic matrix of sparry calcite. Grain size ranges from 0.2 to 1.0 mm (IMR016)
